The article discusses the different perspectives of teachers at an international conference and how they relate. Teachers in different countries differ in their availability of teacher education programs and credentials to become a teacher. However, despite the geographical and cultural barriers, the conversations between the teachers were surprisingly stimulating.

This article is about the process of developing balance and learning when to apply what solution is are more challenging, and few people ever get it right in their life. As a civilization, we are definitely endeavoring to get it right, and have a tendency to still swing from one pole to the other along the way.
Pogrebin, Robin. "Arts Leaders Urge Role for Culture in Economic Recovery." The New York Times [New York City] 25 Jan. 2009. The New York Times. 25 Jan. 2009. 31 Jan. 2009 [http://www.nytimes.com/2009/01/26/arts/26nea.html?_r=1&scp=4&sq=culture&st=cse].
This article was basically about how the major leaders of the foundations for the arts, are trying to make sure that they are included in the financial bailout. They are arguing that they make up a large part of our nation's culture and also need financial help in the rough economy. Some even believe that there needs to a position based solely on the arts in the President's cabinet. A bill has been drawn up that would allow 50 million dollars to be given to the National Endownment for the Arts so they can distribute it to the many nonprofit organizations and art agencies around the country.

The article is about how the rich and poor are suffering with the cost for collage. they (the collage people dudes... i don't know what there offical name is) are trying to get tuition to be low enough to keep student going to collage and high enough to support organizations. Many collages were told that they had to cut their budget by 10% which means they have to lay off more people. Even public universities prices are going up, needing for them to contact the students to tell them such. Private collages are in on it too. cutting down the thermostats and reducing faculty raises. The price of tuition is bearing down on us all. another collage had to denie about 200 applicants because they just couldn't afford it.
